Hardware Spec (Draft)

  • Microcontroller: To be confirmed by Pelican; target low‑power MCU capable of BLE and IMU integration.
  • Sensors: 6‑axis IMU (accelerometer + gyroscope) sampling at 50–100 Hz; optical heart rate and SpO₂ sensor sampling at 1–5 Hz.
  • Connectivity: BLE/NFC to mobile phone; offline‑first sync with phone; optional LoRa/4G/Satellite for remote areas.
  • Emergency Button: Tactile button with haptic and LED feedback; triggers SOS event and audio recording.
  • Power: Rechargeable battery sized for 24+ hour operation; wireless charging or magnetic pogo pins.
  • Form Factor: Wearable patch or pendant; water‑resistant; comfortable for elderly and veterans.
  • Note: Final specs will be updated when Pelican confirms bill of materials (BOM). Training data sampling rates should mirror final sensor frequencies.
